SME Careers is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer (Node.js + React) for remote, hourly engagements. You will review AI-generated full-stack code, designs, and explanations, producing high-quality reference implementations and rationales for complex problems.

You will assess solutions for correctness, security, performance, and scalability, identify API design and data modeling issues, and craft explanations and model solutions that reflect best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years building production web applications (Node.js backend, React frontend).
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript across backend and frontend.
• Experience with authentication flows (OAuth, JWT) and security best practices.
• Familiarity with modern stack tooling and ORMs.
• Ability to write clear technical explanations in English.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code, designs, and explanations for accuracy.
• Produce reference implementations and step-by-step reasoning.
• Evaluate solutions for correctness, performance, security, and scalability.
• Rate AI responses and compare alternatives based on reasoning quality.
