Job summary

ECLARO is seeking a skilled Data Engineer / Power BI Developer to design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and SQL, ingesting data from diverse sources into data warehouses or lakes, and building scalable data models.

You will create Power BI datasets and dashboards, implement DAX calculations, collaborate with stakeholders, ensure data quality, and support migration to modern Microsoft BI environments.

Qualifications

• Strong ETL/ELT experience using Python and SQL.
• Expert Power BI development: reports, dashboards, datasets.
• Advanced DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience with data warehouses, data marts and cloud data platforms (GCP).
• Ability to communicate clearly with business stakeholders, product owners, data engineers, and engineering teams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, deployment pipelines, or governed analytics release processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Python+SQL ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or lakes.
• Build and maintain tabular models, including data modeling, DAX calculations, relationships, partitions, and row-level security.
• Develop complex SQL queries, views, and functions for data extraction, aggregation, and performance tuning.
• Create and support Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards, connecting to SSAS models or direct data sources for interactive visualizations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design data models, and ensure solutions meet business needs for reporting and analytics.
• Implement data quality checks, governance, and monitoring to maintain accuracy and reliability of data pipelines.
• Optimize data models and queries for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Support migration or integration of legacy systems into modern Microsoft BI environments.
