Job summary

ECLARO in the Philippines is seeking a Full Stack BI (PowerBI) Engineer who can bridge stakeholder requirements with data models, ETL/ELT processes, and production support. The role focuses on Python+SQL ingestion, transforming data into scalable warehouses and lakes, and delivering interactive Power BI dashboards.

You will optimize queries, implement data quality checks, and collaborate with data engineers and product owners.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT using Python+SQL, data validation, data quality, and performance optimization.
• Strong hands-on Power BI development experience, including reports, dashboards, datasets, and semantic models.
• Advanced DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Python+SQL ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or lakes.
• Build and maintain tabular models, including data modeling, DAX calculations, relationships, partitions, and row-level security.
• Develop complex SQL queries, views, and functions for data extraction, aggregation, and performance tuning.
• Create and support Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards, connecting to SSAS models or direct data sources for interactive visualizations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design data models, and ensure solutions meet business needs for reporting and analytics.
• Implement data quality checks, governance, and monitoring to maintain accuracy and reliability of data pipelines.
• Optimize data models and queries for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Support migration or integration of legacy systems into modern Microsoft BI environments.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable moving between stakeholder requirements, data modeling, SQL/data pipeline and Power BI development, security, performance optimization, and production support.

• Ability to communicate clearly with business stakeholders, product owners, data engineers, and engineering teams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, deployment pipelines, or governed analytics release processes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Tableau or other BI tools.
• Experience with proprietary or internal reporting tools.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and familiarity with iterative development.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows.
