Job summary

KGPCo is seeking a telecommunications design engineer to prepare site and construction drawings for telecom facilities, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with codes and standards.

You will interpret drawings, support layout and design work, perform self-checks for accuracy, manage workloads to meet deadlines, and assist in training junior staff. Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of telecom design experience and FTTH knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, QGIS, or specialized GIS platforms.
• Strong understanding of telecommunication fiber technology, FTTH design, and safety regulations.
• 1–5 years of telecommunications design experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares site drawings and construction drawings for telecom facilities.
• Interprets codes, standards, requirements, and guidelines for telecom projects.
• Interprets engineering drawings and assists with layout and design work.
• Performs self-checks and quality control for accuracy and presentation.
• Schedules workloads to meet critical design due dates and assists training.
• Represents KGPCo to the community with professional conduct.
