Job summary

NIU Professionals, Inc. is seeking an experienced project designer and coordinator in the telecom field to survey, design, and develop SOP-compliant layouts. You will collaborate with stakeholders to plan projects, create AutoCAD 2D/3D designs, present prototypes, and drive quality improvements with manufacturing and supply chain teams.

The role emphasizes project leadership, problem solving, and effective client communication, with FTTH exposure strongly preferred.

Qualifications

Experience surveying and designing SOP within the telecommunications industry.
FTTH experience preferred.
Familiarity with FTTH materials and specifications.
Familiar with FTTH standards as well as overhead and underground technologies.
Demonstrated project management with leadership, prompt response capability and adaptability.
Experience in project coordination, client communication and problem solving during implementation.

Responsibilities

Meeting with internal and external stakeholders.
BOQ creation.
Ensure quality on design and RTA.
Designs and create 2D and 3D layouts using AutoCAD.
Plan and evaluate new projects consulting with others to determine design requirements.
Present designs and demonstrate prototypes.
Conduct root cause failure analyses and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
Work with manufacturing and supply chain teams to improve product quality.
