Job summary

RecruitFirst is recruiting for a frontline service specialist at an insurance service centre near Raffles Place MRT. This 12-month contract, extendable, offers up to $3,700/month.

You will attend to walk-in policyholders and Financial Representatives, handle general and life insurance inquiries, and ensure timely, courteous resolutions at the service counter. The requirements include a recognised qualification (GCE A-Level, Diploma, or Degree); professional certifications such as BCP, PGI, M5,

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE A-Level, Diploma or Degree from a recognised institution.
• Professional insurance certifications such as BCP, PGI, M5, M9, M9A or Health Insurance certification would be advantageous.
• Comfortable working in a walk-in frontline service environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service abilities.
• Meticulous and attentive to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend to walk-in policyholders and Financial Representatives
• Handle enquiries and requests relating to Life and General Insurance policies within the required turnaround time
• Follow up promptly on matters that cannot be resolved immediately at the service counter
• Assess and manage appeals, feedback and minor complaints from policyholders, Financial Representatives and business partners
• Provide a professional and positive customer-service experience
• Manage customer complaints through to satisfactory closure
• Observe business, regulatory and compliance requirements
• Identify potential operational or compliance concerns and escalate them appropriately
• Support other customer touchpoints, including Digital Communications and the Call Centre, when required
• Participate in projects and perform other duties assigned
