Job summary

LCC - Liberty Commercial Center Inc. seeks a Fresh Operations Specialist to oversee the daily operations of the Fresh Department (Meat, Seafood, Fruits & Vegetables, and Deli/Bakery) to ensure product quality, proper handling, food safety compliance, and excellent customer service.

You will monitor freshness, manage stock, coordinate with suppliers, and prepare daily reports on stock and department performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Food Technology, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in supermarket operations or fresh food handling is advantageous.
• Knowledgeable in inventory management and food safety practices.
• Computer literate and detail-oriented.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the quality and freshness of all fresh department products.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of perishable items (FIFO).
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards per food safety regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse team for timely delivery of fresh items.
• Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and wastage control.
• Ensure proper merchandising and attractive product displays.
• Support pricing updates and product labeling accuracy.
• Address customer inquiries and provide assistance when needed.
• Prepare daily reports on stock levels, spoilage, and department performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Education
