Responsibilities

• Sanitation & Hygiene: Clean and sanitize work areas, display counters, and storage chillers in fresh sections (like produce, meat, poultry, or deli).
• Safety Compliance: Keep floors dry and free of debris to prevent slips in wet or chilled zones.
• Waste Disposal: Properly dispose of expired or damaged fresh items following food safety rules.
• Equipment Upkeep: Wash and maintain tools, trays, and cutting or weighing equipment used by fresh associates.
• Assisting the Team: Help fresh section staff with basic sorting, unboxing, or moving inventory when needed.
