Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a data analytics professional to produce MIS fraud reports and maintain fraud databases. You will back-up the Fraud MIS Head, develop SAS programs, and support analytics across multiple fraud teams.

The role requires a Statistics or IT/Software Programming background, 2+ years in financial services, and onsite work in Metrobank's Credit Operations unit. The candidate should be proficient in SAS, with strong MS Office skills and experience with report generation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics or Information Technology/Software Programming.
• At least 2 years of work experience in a financial institution (credit card preferred).
• Proficient in SAS (at least 1 year of programming experience).
• Experience in database management/report generation; Cardlink knowledge is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willing to report onsite 100%.

Responsibilities

• Generate regular fraud MIS reports for multiple teams within turnaround time.
• Maintain fraud databases end-to-end (detection–provisioning–write-off–recovery) with accuracy.
• Produce/modify report architectures to improve fraud reporting efficiency.
• Create SAS programs to satisfy MI requests within agreed TAT.
• Use SAS to analyze fraud trends and update detection parameters.
• Support fraud teams with segmentation, false positives analysis, and ad-hoc queries.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses with relevant data for management decisions.
• Generate lists of affected accounts via SAS per team requirements.
• Drive process improvements and automation using SAS and other tools.
• Manage fraud server resources and monthly archival processes.
• Monitor volume handled by detection teams to plan FTE capacity.
• Maintain report integrity aligned with business unit objectives.
• Serve as primary back-up for Fraud MIS Head responsibilities.
• Rest of duties including BORC, BCP, Cost Champion, Corp. Correspondents, Line trainer, e-Champ as assigned
