Job summary

Sun Life Global Solutions – Philippines is seeking a Specialist in Finance to support the Finance team with planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. The role focuses on delivering timely financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, profitability, and process improvements across Finance.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and 2–5 years FP&A experience. Proficiency in Excel and finance tools (SAP, AFO, Tableau, Power BI) is preferred to derive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 2–5 years FP&A, financial reporting, or related finance functions.
• Experience in Financial Services, Insurance, Wealth Management, or similar industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly forecasting, annual planning, budgeting, and financial reporting activities.
• Perform variance analysis and identify key financial drivers affecting results.
• Prepare and maintain financial models, forecasts, management reports, and dashboards.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, accruals, profitability, and other key metrics.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial close and reporting processes.
• Prepare, review, and distribute recurring financial and operational reports.
• Extract, validate, and analyze data from financial reporting systems and data warehouses.
• Support billing, invoicing, accrual reviews, reconciliations, and expense recovery calculations.
• Investigate reporting discrepancies and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
