Job summary

Sun Life Philippines is seeking a Finance Analyst to support financial accounting and reporting, with responsibilities spanning monthly close, regulatory reporting, and internal controls. You will contribute to process improvements and provide financial information to management and regulators.

The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, SAP familiarity, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic finance environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial reporting and/or preparation of accounting schedules.
• Bachelor degree in Accountancy or accounting related-course; CPA designation is an advantage.
• Understanding of the accounts reconciliation process.

Responsibilities

• Participate in financial statement closing process, including journal entries.
• Assist in capital assets accounting (software projects, leasehold improvements, other prepaid assets).
• Responsible for profit and loss write-off accounting and related processes.
• Monthly reconciliations: prepare packages, monitor reconciling items, coordinate with business units, identify control issues.
• Handle filings/reporting/payment requirements to IC, BIR and SEC.
