Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a Founding Product & Operations Lead for an early-stage Australian SaaS startup. The role is remote-based, aligned with AU business hours, and contracted directly by the client as an Independent Contractor.

You will work closely with the founder to build the product, optimize operations, and scale processes from the ground up. The ideal candidate has a track record in scaling early-stage SaaS, can operate across strategy and execution, and will eventually lead product,

Qualifications

6–15 years of relevant experience in early-stage SaaS startups.
Proven track record helping scale a SaaS business with hands-on leadership.
Strong product judgment balancing customer needs, tech, and commercial priorities.
Hands-on across product, operations, QA, and customer support.
Experience collaborating with founders or senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Define product strategy, priorities, and roadmap with the founder.
Translate customer needs into clear product requirements and workflows.
Shape product logic, processes, and user experiences.
Coordinate QA, testing, and release procedures with cross-functional teams.
Create SOPs, documentation, and scalable operational processes.
Build and lead teams across product, QA, support, and operations as the company grows.
