Job summary

FSS Systems Inc. is seeking a results-driven Business Development professional to identify and prospect potential customers in the food-service, restaurant, and related industries, and to present the company's products and solutions.

You will develop relationships, understand customer needs, coordinate with internal teams, prepare quotations, negotiate, and help close sales while adhering to pricing and policies. Travel for client visits may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Results-oriented, proactive and confident in dealing with clients.
• Strong ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills.
• Willing to conduct client visits and perform field work when required.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential customers, within food-service, restaurant, and related industries.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Present and introduce the company's products and solutions to potential customers.
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate with internal teams to provide appropriate product recommendations and quotations.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, samples, and other sales-related requirements.
• Negotiate with clients and assist in closing sales while ensuring company pricing and policies are followed.
• Monitor customer accounts, sales activities, and business opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and other departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, customer information, sales activities, and account updates.
