Job summary

Mary Grace Foods, Inc. seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our manufacturing facility, ensuring food safety and quality while consistently meeting production orders on time and in full.

You will coordinate resources and enforce SOPs to sustain efficient, safe output. The ideal candidate holds a college degree (Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering preferred) with at least 2 years in the food industry, proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Apps, and knowledgeable

Qualifications

• College graduate, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 2 years full-time experience in the food industry, in production.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google Apps; knowledge of GMP and food safety.
• Familiar with baking science or food manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned departments to meet daily job orders on time and in full while enforcing SOPs, food safety, and quality.
• Supervises daily operations to ensure efficiency and availability of manpower, machines, materials, and methods.
• Generates daily reports that will measure the team’s performance.
• Analyzes the current operations system and suggests improvements without violating standards or policies.
• Ensures workforce and production processes adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Participates in investigation of incidents with the production supervisor.
• Guides, coaches, motivates and mentors the team to achieve organizational goals.
• Monitors performance evaluations and provides constructive feedback.
• Addresses performance issues professionally and takes corrective actions when necessary.
• Embraces change and adapts to new circumstances.
• Coordinates with team members and departments to ensure efficient production operations.
• Communicates announcements, policies, and information to all team members.
• Builds trust and maintains a healthy work environment with accurate information and empathy.
• Performs other tasks to contribute to departmental goals.
