Responsibilities

• Take down orders and endorse the OS to kitchen and cashier.
• Pick up orders from kitchen/bar and verify against the OS for accuracy.
• Serve orders to guests and maintain attentive service.
• Refill water goblets, coffee or tea as requested.
• Clear tables, remove soiled items and maintain mise-en-place.
• Manage guest expectations, recommend menu items and escalate issues to the F&B Team Leader.

Job description

Dining

a.Take down orders of guests and endorse the Order Slip (OS) to Kitchen for preparation of order and to Cashier for preparation of Guest Check

b.Pick up order from kitchen/bar and countercheck against the OS to ensure completeness and accuracy of the order

c. Serve orders to guests

d. Refill water goblets, coffee or tea cups upon guest’s request or when necessary

Dining Maintenance

a.Take out soiled dinner plates, silverware and glasses from the dining table after the guests have finished eating

b.Forward all soiled tableware and linen to the dishwashing area and linen section

c.Prepare and arrange mise-en-place on table in accordance with the established standards once the tables have been cleared and cleaned

d.Maintains the cleanliness of all chinaware, silverware, glasses and linen

Guest Relations

a. Manages guest expectations and guest complaints to ensure customer satisfaction

b. Recommends menu items that guests will appreciate

c. Refers to F&B Team Leader for any guest complaints or any issues related to operations of the dining outlet
