Job summary

Virgin Beach Resort Laiya in San Juan, Batangas seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead the F&B team, oversee service quality, and coordinate events.

The role blends admin duties with hands-on operations, including menu planning, inventory control, guest satisfaction, and collaboration with other departments to achieve resort goals. Onsite work with long hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the Food & Beverage team, including the Team Leader and staff, to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare work schedules and manage manpower requirements, especially during peak seasons.
• Mentor and train team members to maintain service standards and efficiency.
• Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to quality and presentation standards.
• Participate in food tastings and provide suggestions for menu themes, especially for events.
• Manage inventory of food and beverage supplies to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Ensure VIP guests receive personalized attention, particularly for their food and beverage preferences.
• Address guest inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Uphold high standards of service and hospitality across all interactions.
• Assist in planning and executing food and beverage offerings for events and themed activities.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager and other departments to align with the resort's goals.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, schedules, and inventory.
• Submit periodic reports on team performance, guest feedback, and operational needs.
• Assist in resort-related tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager, General Manager, or President.
• Work is primarily onsite at the resort and may involve long hours during busy periods.
• Role requires a mix of administrative work and hands-on involvement in food and beverage operations.
