NIU Professionals, Inc. is seeking a supply chain professional to manage finished goods replenishment using MRP to balance resources and demand. The role requires executing MRP in ERP, converting purchase requisitions to POs, and monitoring MRP exceptions to expedite deliveries.
You will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on stock health and discrepancies. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and has experience in supply planning, procurement, or logistics,
Manage finished goods replenishment using MRP to balance resources and demand.
Execute MRP in ERP and use results to drive replenishment activities.
Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders through ERP batch jobs.
Monitor MRP exceptions and coordinate with suppliers to expedite deliveries.
Record purchase order acknowledgements and advance shipping notifications in ERP.
Manage invoice discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
Monitor back orders, pre-shortage, shortage, stock coverage, and stock health.
Analyze inventory data and take corrective actions to maintain stock availability.
Define default transportation modes using the Air/Sea Tool and manage changes when required.
Act as the primary contact for suppliers and coordinate with planning, warehouse, and logistics teams.
Support MRP parameter optimization and stock discrepancy analysis.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Engineering, or a related course.
Experience in supply planning, inventory planning, procurement, or logistics is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Oracle or SAP.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret numbers, trends, and data to make informed decisions.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Ability to make independent decisions and solve operational issues.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with internal teams and suppliers.
