Job summary

Specialist SEND Group is seeking tutors for flexible, impactful SEND tutoring in the Wigan area. You will deliver 1:1 or small-group tuition using a bespoke curriculum designed around each child’s needs, interests, and learning style.

Ideal candidates will have experience with SEND/SEMH and possess resilience, empathy, and strong relationship-building skills to help re-engage learners and build confidence across English, Maths, and the wider curriculum.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEND/SEMH, autism, ADHD, anxiety or behaviour needs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 or small-group tutoring using a bespoke curriculum.
• Re-engage learners with education and build confidence.
• Support core academic skills (English, Maths, and related subjects).
• Prepare students for reintegration into education where appropriate.
