Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Proven accounting experience beyond data entry.
• Strong QuickBooks proficiency (Online and/or Desktop).
• Knowledge of general accounting principles, journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Hands-on payroll processing and payroll record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day accounting in QuickBooks, including recording transactions and maintaining the general ledger.
• Complete regular bank, credit card, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Support the month-end close and produce financial statements (P/L and Balance Sheet).
• Help with payroll processing and payroll records accuracy.
• Record payroll entries and liabilities in the books.
• Track and record accounts payable and accounts receivable activity.
• Keep financial documents organized and support year-end and tax prep.
