Job summary

SGV, a leading professional services firm in the Philippines, seeks a Transaction Diligence Associate to join our Financial Due Diligence team in Manila. You will perform in-depth financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, analyzing financial statements, forecasts, and historical data to identify risks and validate financial health.

The role emphasizes precise analysis and clear client communication, contributing to successful, value-creating transactions.

Qualifications

: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy is required.
: CPA license and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed financial due diligence investigations to identify risks and opportunities in proposed transactions, providing clients with the insights needed to make informed decisions.
Analyze financial statements, business plans, and forecasts to assess earnings quality, working capital requirements, and long-term health of target entities.
Prepare analyses of historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow and deal valuation.
Assist in researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring.
Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations that summarize findings, highlight risks, and propose mitigating strategies.
