Job summary

Costner Trading Corporation, an exclusive distributor of Asia Brewery Incorporated, is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and manage spare parts inventories.

You will maintain repair records, support roadside assistance, and keep a clean, orderly work area. Schedule: Monday to Saturday with homebased Iloilo Sales Office and outbased Kalibo Sales Office.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• TESDA-accredited Certificate in Automotive/Mechanic/Technician.
• At least 6 months of experience as a Fleet Mechanic.
• Professional Driver’s License with A, A1, B, B1, B2, and C.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Inspects and diagnoses route trucks and service units.
• Repairs and replaces parts with approval.
• Keeps spare parts inventory and vehicle assignment records.
• Maintains accurate repair cost records and vehicle cards.
• Ensures repairs meet set quality standards and tests performance.
• Keeps work area clean and assists in roadside rescue when needed.

About this Role

This role conducts preventive maintenance, repairs approved vehicle issues and monitors spare parts inventory. It keeps detailed records of vehicle assignments, repair history, and service costs. It also ensures repair quality, supports roadside assistance, and maintains a clean, organized work area.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures vehicles undergo regular preventive maintenance.

• Inspects, analyzes and diagnoses all route trucks, service units, and other company vehicles

• Repairs and replaces damaged vehicle parts upon approval

• Keeps accurate inventory of spare parts and determines parts needed in vehicle repair

• Keeps inventory of all company-operated vehicles as to their assignment and physical count at all times

• Keep record cards of all vehicles for repair including costs, frequency, etc.

• Ensures that the qualities of vehicle repairs done by accredited shops are according to set standards

• Maintains vehicles in good operating condition and tests for performance

• Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of his work area

• Assists in rescuing stalled vehicles on the road

Work Schedule

• Days: Monday to Saturday

Qualifications & Competencies Needed:

• At least High school graduate

• Must have a valid Certificate in Automotive/Mechanic/Technician Vocational course - TESDA accredited

• With at least 6 months of experience as a Fleet Mechanic

• Holder of Valid Professional Driver’s License with Restriction Code of A, A1, B, B1, B2, and C

• Work Assignment:

  • Homebased: Iloilo Sales Office

  • Outbased: Kalibo Sales Office
