Job summary

Vfryt is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in the Philippines to oversee procurement and logistics operations within a growing supply chain startup. You will manage vendor development, fleet placements, and MIS reporting, ensuring timely POD updates and cost optimization across the network.

You will coordinate with HO/clients, source 14–32 ft vehicles, and drive efficiency in transport operations while maintaining strong records and adherence to company processes.

Qualifications

• Graduation in any field (UG).
• FTL background preferred from a transportation/logistics company.
• Ability to source specified vehicles: 14FT/17FT/20FT/32FT SXL/MXL, etc.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing new vendors and direct fleet owners for cost optimization.
• Plan and supervise vehicle placement to end-users.
• Maintain POD/LR/Vehicle tracking updates in the system (TMS).
• Prepare daily MIS on vehicle placement and incidents.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

Vendor Development Management

• Sourcing New Vendors as per the existing and future requirements of vehicles.
• Finding and adding direct fleet owners for cost optimization.
• Documentation for Vendor code creation Coordinating with HO for Vendor code
• Tracking the Vendor Payment ( Advance and Invoice)

Operations

• Ensuring Indent Vs Actual Placement
• Planning and supervising the vehicle placement to the end-user
• Coordination with clients for ad-hock vehicle requirements and new lane initiation.
• Ontime POD Collection Uploading in TMS (Ensure the POD shall not exceed
• LR/ Vehicle tracking and updating to Customers/ HO
• CN tracking and updating Customers
• CN entry in TMS/ daily MIS
• Ensuring POD Updation (100% on the same day of receipt)

MIS Reports

• Daily MIS of Vehicle placement Tracking ( daily, end-to-end vehicle placement report )
• Report maintenance and repair needs for transportation vehicles during transit.
• Information and communication of incidents and accidents of route vehicles to immediate senior and zonal manager.
• Keep organized records of vehicles, schedules, and completed orders

Desired Candidate Profile

• Any Graduation
• Candidate shall be from an FTL background from a transportation / logistic company
• Candidate should be able to source the below vehicles from the market : 14FT/ 17 FT /20 FT/ 32 FT SXL MXL / 16 Ton / Tata ace / Tata 407/ Mahendra Pick up / Tata 1109 / 40 feet trailer.
