Job summary

Rigging Corporation is seeking an Equipment Custodian to manage trucks, heavy equipment, tools, and spare parts. You will monitor locations, usage, and conditions, while coordinating maintenance and parts purchases.

The role requires practical knowledge of equipment operations, inventory control, and cost monitoring. Proficiency in Excel and strong coordination skills are essential for success on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in equipment, fleet, maintenance, or spare parts management.
• Knowledge of trucks, forklifts, cranes and other heavy equipment.
• Understanding of spare parts, maintenance needs, and pricing.
• Proficient in documenting equipment and maintenance records.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain records of trucks, forklifts, cranes and other heavy equipment.
• Track equipment location, assignment, condition, mileage, and operating hours.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and report damages or maintenance concerns.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment servicing.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment supplies.
• Identify required spare parts and coordinate with suppliers regarding availability and pricing.
• Monitor spare parts costs, purchases, issuance, and usage.
• Maintain accurate equipment, maintenance, and inventory records.
• Coordinate with drivers, operators, mechanics, suppliers and project personnel.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and use of company equipment and tools.
• Report lost, damaged, or improperly used equipment and recommend corrective action.
• Assist with equipment audits, inventory counts, and cost monitoring.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
