Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement in Manila is seeking a Fleet Personnel Officer to oversee crew planning, recruitment, rotation, and development, ensuring regulatory compliance and cost efficiency for safe vessel operations. You will liaise with flag authorities, manage contracts, plan rotations, monitor vacancies, and coordinate embarkation/disembarkation while optimizing travel and training budgets.

The role requires a maritime degree or certificate and at least 5 years in maritime recruitment

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in a maritime-related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maritime recruitment or fleet personnel operations.
• Experience in employment contract development and crew planning.
• Familiarity with maritime labor law and seafarers’ rights.

Responsabilidades

• Execute vessel manning plans aligning with regulations and budgets.
• Review and approve employment contracts for compliance with standards.
• Plan crew rotations and end-of-contract procedures for continuous operations.
• Monitor current and future crew vacancies and support annual manning plans.
• Coordinate crew embarkation and disembarkation logistics cost-effectively.
• Liaise with flag state authorities to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate operational changes and ensure access to documentation.
• Assess crew performance and support development plans with training centers.
• Optimize crew travel arrangements and monitor costs.
