Job summary

Conduent in the Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented Fixed Assets Accountant to maintain the asset register, tag assets, and support depreciation entries, month-end close, and sub-ledger reconciliations.

You will coordinate asset movements with multiple departments, perform periodic inventories, prepare internal reports for audits, ensure capitalization policy compliance, and maintain thorough documentation while working on-site during night shift with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in fixed assets accounting or general accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset register and ensure assets are properly recorded and updated.
• Coordinate tagging and physical tracking of fixed assets across locations.
• Assist in preparing depreciation schedules and monthly depreciation journal entries.
• Coordinate with departments for asset movement and verification.
• Conduct periodic physical asset inventory and support reconciliation efforts.
• Help prepare fixed asset reports for internal use, audits, and compliance purposes.
• Ensure compliance with capitalization policy and accounting standards.
• Maintain organized documentation for asset-related transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities related to fixed assets.
• Perform book closing activities monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Reconcile fixed assets balances at sub-ledger and general ledger each month.
• Apply knowledge of accounting policies surrounding fixed assets.
