Job summary

Henkel Philippines is seeking a General Accounting Analyst focused on Fixed Assets to ensure accuracy of asset records and support month-end close and financial reporting. You will collaborate with the accounting team and assist auditors while seeking opportunities to improve processes.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in accounting, at least 3 years in general accounting, SAP and advanced Excel skills, and excellent English communication. CPA is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy-related courses; CPA licensure is highly preferred.
• With at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in General Accounting, Auditing or other Finance related areas; Fixed Assets experience preferred
• Knowledge in intermediate Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, pivot tables) and SAP are required; Macros and VBA are an advantage
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Must be results-oriented, deadline-driven, proactive; with collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Amenable to work on a regular day shift (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM) and at least five (5) days of mid shift (4:00 PM to 1:00 AM) for month-end closing activities

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly Fixed Assets tasks in accordance with the SLA and resolve requests promptly.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end activities and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Complete and submit various required reports accurately.
• Support internal and external audits with timely audit schedules.
• Contribute to team objectives and initiate process improvements.
