Job summary

Amkor Worldwide Services LLC-ROHQ is seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant in the Philippines to manage and reconcile fixed asset accounts, including PPE system entries and depreciation processes.

The role involves monthly PPE additions, retirements, depreciation, and coordination with external appraisers for PPE appraisal when needed, plus monthly reconciliation of PPE costs and depreciation balances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate.
• At least two (2) years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, or shared services operations, including exposure to general ledger management, financial reporting, and compliance activities.
• Knowledge on SAP or any ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Reconciles fixed asset clearing account every month.
• Performs system addition of Property Plant Equipment (PPE) every month.
• Performs system retirement/disposal of PPE every month, if applicable.
• Performs system depreciation every month.
• Coordinates with external appraisers should there be a need to perform PPE appraisal.
• Reconciles lapsing and trial balance PPE cost and accumulated depreciation.
• Performs inventory and PPE count.
