Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a meticulous Property, Plant and Equipment (PP&E) Accountant to join onsite night shift in Pasay City. You will manage fixed asset ledgers, depreciation, CIP review, and asset retirements across global entities.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 4–6 years in fixed asset accounting, IFRS/GAAP knowledge, and experience with SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics. This role offers competitive rewards and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
4–6 years of experience in general accounting or fixed asset accounting in multi-regional/multi-currency setting.
Strong knowledge of IFRS or GAAP relating to fixed assets and long-lived asset accounting.
Hands-on experience with large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).
Proven ability to manage month-end close timetables, prepare audit schedules, and perform reconciliations.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update the fixed asset ledger, recording additions, tagging, and tracking assets across global entities.
Calculate monthly depreciation, manage amortization schedules, and reconcile subledgers to GL balance sheet accounts.
Review CIP and project costs to apply capitalization policies and identify exceptions.
Process asset retirements, sales, transfers, and test for impairments or obsolescence.
Support audits, month-end/year-end closes, and provide PP&E data for insurance and property tax.
