HUMMINGCOMM CORPORATION is seeking a vigilant First Aid Officer to provide immediate medical care for workers at the Kaliwa Dam Outlet Diversion Tunnel project in Teresa, Rizal. You will maintain first aid stations, assist in emergencies, and coordinate with safety personnel to ensure rapid medical referrals and safe evacuations.

The role requires a high school diploma or better, a valid First Aid Training Certificate, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; healthcare-related background is an advantage.
• Valid First Aid Training Certificate issued by a DOLE-recognized or appropriately accredited provider.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR training preferred.
• Experience as a first aider in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or remote project sites is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic wound care, bleeding control, fracture immobilization, and emergency response procedures.
• Able to maintain first aid records and assist in medical emergency coordination.
• Physically fit and capable of responding to emergencies, including underground work areas, per fitness-for-work standards.
• Willing to work on-site at the Kaliwa Dam Outlet Diversion Tunnel project in Teresa, Rizal.
• Willing to work according to project operational requirements and schedules.
• Available to start as soon as possible.

Responsabilités

• Provide immediate first aid and basic emergency care to injured or ill workers.
• Assess injuries and medical emergencies and arrange referral or transport to appropriate medical facilities.
• Inspect and maintain first aid kits, emergency medical supplies, and designated first aid stations.
• Assist in emergency response, rescue coordination, and medical evacuation during accidents or tunnel emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of injuries, first aid treatments, and medical referrals.
• Assist in conducting toolbox meetings, safety orientations, and basic first aid awareness activities.
• Monitor workplace health hazards and report incidents or unsafe conditions to the Safety Officer.
• Coordinate with the Safety Officer, site supervisors, and medical personnel during emergencies.
• Participate in emergency drills and ensure readiness of first aid equipment and supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of workers' medical information and follow established emergency response procedures.

About the role

Responsible for providing immediate first aid and basic emergency medical assistance to workers and personnel at the project site. Ensures the availability of first aid supplies, assists in emergency response and medical evacuations, and promotes workplace health and safety, particularly during tunnel construction and other high-risk activities.

About you

• High school graduate, vocational graduate, or college level; a healthcare-related background is an advantage.

• Must possess a valid First Aid Training Certificate issued by a DOLE-recognized or otherwise appropriately accredited training provider, as applicable.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR training or certification is preferred.

• Experience as a first aider in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or remote project sites is an advantage.
