Job summary

Qualifications

• Professional license in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of related experience is required.
• Experience with security and surveillance products (Biometric, CCTV, PABX, Access Control, Structured Cabling) is an advantage.
• Mechanical Fire Protection specialization with project execution experience in Renewable Energy (e.g., Solar) preferred.
• Direct fire safety installations, training, and documentation experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual to detailed design drawings for Fire Protection systems and assist in HVAC design as required.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, fire pump sizing, water demand, pipe sizing, cooling load, ventilation, and equipment sizing.
• Design and coordinate sprinkler, standpipe, fire pumps, and fire water storage systems.
• Develop mechanical layouts, plans, schedules, details, and specs for Fire Protection and HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and other engineers for integration.
• Prepare design reports, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and proposals for design intent and project requirements.
• Assist in value engineering to achieve cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure deliverables meet project schedules and quality standards.
• Provide technical support and clarification to teams and stakeholders.
• Stay updated with Fire Codes, Building Codes, NFPA standards, and industry practices.

We are looking for Seasoned Fire Protection Engineer with knowledged or have experience in projects for Renewable Energy Projects / Solar Power and have worked as Fire Protection Engineers on the following projects.

Fire Protection Engineer

• Qualification:
  • Candidate must possess at least Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • At least 3 -5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): With working background of security and surveillance products such as Biometric, CCTV, PABX, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Fire Alarms, Fire Protection and alike is an advantage.
  • Mechanical Engineer in Fire Protection Specialization who plans and develops medium to large scope projects (Renewable Energy Industry) with complexities, executes and coordinated projects and many oversee a large staff of Engineers and Engineering designers.
  • Direct; fire safety installations, Fire prevention training & write documentations.
  • Liaise with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence.
  • Willing to do business travel all throughout the Philippine

• Perform engineering calculations including hydraulic calculations, fire pump sizing, water demand analysis, pipe sizing, cooling load calculations, ventilation calculations, and equipment sizing.
• Design and coordinate sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, fire pumps, fire water storage systems, and other fire protection systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Develop mechanical system layouts, plans, schedules, details, and technical specifications for Fire Protection and HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, sanitary engineers, and other disciplines to ensure proper system integration.
• Prepare design reports, technical studies, calculations, and engineering documentation.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical proposals for compliance with design intent and project requirements.
• Assist in value engineering studies and provide recommendations for cost-effective and efficient system solutions.
• Ensure all design deliverables are completed accurately and within project schedules.
• Provide technical support and design clarifications to internal teams, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Stay updated with applicable Fire Codes, Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, NFPA Standards, and industry best practices.
