Job summary

First Circle is seeking an IT Support Intern to assist employees with technical issues and IT operations in a supervised learning role. You’ll follow documented procedures, gain hands-on experience with device setup, troubleshooting, and IT service management in a growing fintech.

You’ll handle onboarding/offboarding tasks, inventory control, and basic account support while learning to follow security procedures and escalation paths. This is a hybrid role based in the BGC office with core hours.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software issues.
• Familiarity with macOS or Windows, productivity tools, and basics of networking.

Responsibilities

• IT Support & Ticketing: respond to employee IT requests, record tickets, and update users on progress.
• Hardware & Software Troubleshooting: diagnose common laptop, software, printer, monitor, and peripheral issues using guides.
• Network & AV Assistance: assist with Wi‑Fi, VPN, and meeting room checks; escalate unresolved issues.
• Onboarding Setup: prepare laptops, install approved apps, and assist with onboarding checklists.
• Offboarding & Inventory: support equipment collection and maintain device inventory records.
• Account Administration: assist with routine account support following verification procedures.
• Documentation & Device Rollouts: document fixes and update setup guides under supervision.
