Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottlers Business Services, Inc. is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to execute period-end closing and deliver timely statutory and management reports. The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to GAAP, and efficient closing timelines within a hybrid work setup in the Philippines.

The ideal candidate has a 5+ year background in accounting and financial reporting, strong data analysis, and familiarity with SAP. CPA is welcome but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any Finance related course.
• CPA is highly desirable but not required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in General Accounting, Finance Accounting, and/or Financial Reporting.
• Knowledge in SAP will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills and strong data analysis capability.
• Able to work in a hybrid setup; based in Bagumbayan Quezon City.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management reports for senior management and Corporate submissions.
• Submit regular and ad hoc reports timely and accurately based on customers' requirements.
• Analyze Actuals vs Rolling Estimate, BP and PY including variances.
• Propose standard templates and improve reporting efficiency.
• Prepare statutory reports in accordance with GAAP and reporting standards.
• Ensure period-end close and consolidation are on time.
• Identify issues that impede closing activities and address them.
• Document aging of reportable items and provide actionable details.
• Monitor corrective actions from balance sheet reconciliations.

Job Summary:

The Financial Reporting Analyst is primarily responsible to execute period end closing of books and preparing timely and accurate statutory and management reporting requirements of customers. He/She is responsible to execute his/her functions with excellence according to service level standards agreed at highest quality and affordability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare management reports for senior management and Corporate submissions.

• Submit regular and ad hoc reports timely, accurately and based on customers' requirements.

• Actuals with comparative Rolling Estimate (RE), Business Plan (BP) and Prior Year results (PY); including analysis of Actuals vs RE, BP & PY.

• Initiate continuous improvement in the areas of management reporting. Propose standard templates for regular reports and suggest ways to make them faster to generate.

• Prepare statutory reports which are in accordance with GAAP and reporting standards.

• Work within the closing timeline to ensure that period-end close and consolidation are on time.

• Identify and get details on the issues that impede closing activities.

• Provide adequate details regarding reportable items and ageing of reportable items.

• Monitor that all corrective actions developed as a result of previous balance sheet reconciliation review have been properly implemented as agreed/planned.

• Demonstrate basic knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and business control frameworks.
  

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any Finance related course;

• Certified Public Accountant is highly desirable but not required;

• Minimum 5 years experience in General Accounting, Finance Accounting, and/or Financial Reporting;

• Knowledge in SAP will be an advantage;

• Good communication skills and strong data analysis capability;

• Can work on a hybrid setup, currently we are based in Bagumbayan Quezon City.
