Phoenix Publishing House Inc. is seeking an experienced Accountant to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, aligning with management and government requirements.
Responsibilities include maintaining ledgers, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports, coordinating with auditors, and overseeing fixed assets and cash flow reconciliations using ERP and MS Office.
Observes accounting policies in recording of financial transactions to provide reports that comply with the reportorial requirements of the Management and the government.
Prepares and generates monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for timely and accurate reports to management and government agencies.
Maintains and analyzes subsidiary ledgers and account schedules to ensure the accuracy of recording of accounts reflected in the financial statements and ensures accuracy of cash flows thru reconciliation of balances on ERP versus bank reconciliation on a monthly basis.
Administers the validation and completeness of fixed assets master data, and outstanding cash advances of employees.
Coordinates with and provides requirements of the external auditors.
Oversees the maintenance of financial books of accounts and monitors the annual registration in BIR.
1. Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy or equivalent, CPA is an advantage
2. With at least 3 years work experience preferably in financial accounting.
3. Must possess time management skills, and superior data entry and analytical skills.
4. Preferably with knowledge of financial transaction workflows using ERP systems and MS Office.
