Job summary

VAP is hiring an Australian Financial Planning Assistant to support advisers and implement approved financial advice across investments, superannuation, and insurance. You will collaborate with advisers, paraplanners, and product providers to ensure timely execution of recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting an Australian financial planning firm with a focus on advice implementation.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end implementation processes for Statements of Advice (SoA) and Records of Advice (RoA).
• Proficiency in Xplan or AdviserLogic for workflow management and tracking.
• Strong understanding of superannuation, pensions, investments, and insurance products.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple implementation tasks.
• Clear and professional communication with advisers, providers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Financial Advisers and the broader financial planning team.
• Collect, organise, and accurately maintain client information within business systems.
• Prepare client forms, supporting documentation, and financial planning records.
• Conduct basic product and provider research as requested by advisers.
• Draft routine client emails and professional correspondence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
• Liaise with internal teams and external providers to obtain required information and documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with Australian financial planning requirements.
• Prioritise daily administrative tasks while meeting service standards and deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and team efficiency.
