Job summary

VAP (VA Platinum) | Outsourcing Experts seeks an experienced Paraplanner to assist an Australian Financial Planning firm from our office in Cebu. This role involves comprehensive research, report preparation, and collaboration with financial advisors.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in XPlan or AdviserLogic, experienced in preparing Statements of Advice and managing compliance with Australian regulations. Work hours offer a day-shift schedule with weekends off.

Qualifications

• Must be experienced as an Australian Paraplanner supporting a Financial Planning Firm.
• Worked on preparation and implementation of SoAs and Records of Advice (RoAs).
• Able to liaise between advisors and clients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide quotes for Risk and/or Financial Planning SoAs and conduct product comparisons.
• Ensure compliance with ASFL while preparing Records of Advice.
• Liaise with fund managers and administrators to support financial planning.

Skills

About the Role

As an Australian Paraplanner, you will focus on comprehensive research, report preparation, and direct collaboration with financial advisors.

Ideal Candidate (Must Have Requirements)

• Experienced as an Australian Paraplanner supporting an Australian Financial Planning Firm
• Proficiency in either XPlan or AdviserLogic
• Experience in Financial Planning Modelling creation
• Handled the preparation and implementation of Statements of Advice (SoA)
• Experience in Investment and/or Insurance Implementation
• Prior experience with Records of Advice (RoA)
• Able to liaise between advisors, insurance companies, clients, and other parties involved
• Open to work in our office in Cebu (IT Park, Cebu City)

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide quotes for either Risk and/or Financial Planning SoA, and conduct product cost comparisons for superannuation, pension, and investments
• Ensure the advice provided aligns with ASFL compliance parameters while preparing meticulously for Records of Advice (ROA)
• Apply working knowledge of Australian Financial Planning regulatory requirements
• Generate new business income from risk insurance and superannuation advice this financial year, and implement advice for clients’ financial plans
• Complete fact‑finding documents while managing all necessary client work papers and information
• Update client paper and electronic files to maintain compliance, and manage and review client data in the CRM for accuracy
• Liaise effectively with fund managers, administrators, and life companies to oversee client affairs and coordinate research efforts to support financial planning recommendations
