MicroSourcing invites applications for the Financial Operations Manager role in a hybrid setup at Eastwood, Quezon City. Lead end-to-end investment operations, collaborate with advisers, custodians and partners, and drive process improvements using technology and AI.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, banking/finance experience, and deep knowledge of the investment lifecycle in a dynamic offshore services environment.

Qualifications

• Must have direct leadership experience with team ownership.
• Banking and financial services background required.
• 5+ years in financial services, incl. 3+ years in fund administration or investment ops.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end investment lifecycle.
• Proven ability to improve ops through tech, automation or AI.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end investment operations lifecycle: onboarding, trade execution, settlement, payments, and admin.
• Support day-to-day Investment Operations ensuring accuracy, efficiency and SLAs.
• Serve as senior contact for complex matters with advisers, custodians, issuers and partners.
• Build relationships with platform providers, custodians and service partners to improve ops.
• Identify process improvements using technology, automation and AI to drive efficiency.
• Mentor onboarding and day-to-day workflow prioritisation for the team.
• Support reporting, reconciliations, audits and risk management; strengthen controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the end-to-end investment operations lifecycle, including adviser and investor onboarding, trade execution, settlement, payments, and ongoing investment administration.
• Support the day-to-day operations of the Investment Operations function, ensuring all activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed service levels.
• Act as a senior point of contact for complex operational matters, working closely with advisers, custodians, issuers, platform partners, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key strategic partners, including platform providers, custodians, and service providers, to support efficient operations and continuous service improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes by leveraging technology, automation, and AI tools to drive efficiencies and enhance the client and adviser experience.
• Provide guidance and support to the wider Investment Operations team, assisting with onboarding, training, and day-to-day workflow prioritisation.
• Support operational reporting, reconciliations, audits, and risk management activities while proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen controls.

Top 5 Non-Negotiable / Priority Requirements

• Leadership Experience
  • Demonstrated experience with direct team leadership, including ownership of team performance, workflow management, and managerial decision-making responsibilities.
• Banking & Financial Services Background
  • Proven experience within the banking and financial services industry.
• Relevant Industry Experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in financial services, including at least 3+ years in fund administration, investment operations, back office, middle office, or custody operations.
• Investment Operations Expertise
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end investment lifecycle, including adviser/investor onboarding, trade execution, settlements, payments, and ongoing investment administration.
• Process Improvement & Technology
  • Demonstrated experience improving operational processes, driving efficiencies, and leveraging technology, automation, and AI tools to streamline workflows.
