We are looking for an experienced KYC/AML Associate Manager to manage a team of analysts supporting financial crime compliance and customer due diligence activities. This role is ideal for a people leader with strong expertise in KYC, AML, CDD, EDD, and sanctions screening, combined with a proven track record of driving operational performance and regulatory compliance.
You will be responsible for leading daily operations, developing team capability, ensuring service level commitments are met, and partnering with key stakeholders to continuously improve quality and productivity.
Lead and manage a team of KYC/AML Analysts, ensuring achievement of service level agreements (SLAs), quality targets, productivity goals, and adherence metrics.
Allocate and prioritize workloads, manage team queues, and rebalance resources to meet daily and weekly operational commitments.
Review and approve complex, high-risk, or escalated cases requiring Team Lead sign-off.
Conduct regular team huddles, coaching sessions, and one-on-one discussions to support performance and career development.
Monitor analyst performance and provide timely coaching based on quality reviews, scorecards, and operational metrics.
Drive onboarding and ramp-up activities for new team members and coordinate training interventions when required.
Partner with Quality Control teams to address recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Manage attendance, schedule adherence, and capacity planning to maintain operational efficiency.
Support employee engagement initiatives and proactively identify retention and attrition risks.
Escalate operational risks, including volume spikes, process gaps, system issues, and resource constraints, while recommending actionable solutions.
Provide accurate performance reporting, operational insights, and root cause analysis to leadership teams.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and operational procedures.
Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
5-8 years of KYC/AML or Financial Crime Compliance experience.
At least 5 years of supervisory or people management experience.
