Oversee customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Review and approve complex or high-risk cases requiring management escalation.
Monitor and manage team performance, including service levels, quality standards, productivity, and adherence metrics.
Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and development discussions to foster employee growth and engagement.
Allocate workloads effectively and manage team capacity to meet operational demands.
Partner with Quality, Training, and Compliance teams to identify improvement opportunities and address performance gaps.
Escalate operational and compliance risks, providing recommendations and action plans to leadership.
Support business reviews by delivering performance insights, trend analysis, and root cause assessments.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Support onboarding and training of new team members to ensure successful integration and performance readiness.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in Financial Compliance, AML, KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Financial Crime Compliance, or related functions.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory or people management experience.
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, customer due diligence, sanctions screening, financial crime prevention, and risk management principles.
Proven experience leading teams and managing operational KPIs, including productivity, quality, service levels, and compliance metrics.
Experience handling complex, high-risk, or escalated compliance reviews is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership abilities.
Experience within banking, financial services, fintech, shared services, or compliance operations environments is highly preferred.
Professional certifications such as CAMS, CFCS, ICA, or equivalent are advantageous but not required.
