Job summary

Bernhard Schulte Gmbh in the Philippines is seeking a hands-on Financial Accounting Team Lead to manage day-to-day accounts operations and lead a small team of Accounts Officers. You will drive month-end close, IFRS-compliant reporting, and process improvements while coaching staff and ensuring high-quality financial information for stakeholders.

The role requires a CPA advantage, strong IFRS knowledge, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• CPA designation is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting a plus.
• Experience with international clients and stakeholders is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Accounts Officers and Senior Accounts Officers.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure internal controls compliance.
