Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant (ACCA Part- Qualified/ In progress) with experience in UK Accounting to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support accounting operations across multiple business entities and work closely with the leadership team in an international environment.

This role is responsible for managing general accounting functions, customer billing, vendor payments, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and company policies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and capable of maintaining accuracy while managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting and bookkeeping functions in accordance with UK accounting standards and best practices.

• Prepare, process, and monitor customer billing and invoicing activities.

• Manage vendor payments and maintain accurate accounts payable records.

• Reconcile bank accounts, financial transactions, and account balances.

• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports.

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding billing, payments, and financial inquiries.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Support process improvements and maintain effective financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• ACCA Qualified (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is required.

• Proven experience in UK Accounting is required.

• Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial reporting requirements.

• Experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, or finance operations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/systems.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a professional team environment.

• Experience supporting UK-based clients or businesses is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a multinational, shared services, or international business environment.

• Familiarity with accounting platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar financial systems.
