Job summary

SM Supermalls is seeking a seasoned finance leader in the Philippines to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and governance across the business unit. You will drive accuracy, strengthen controls, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

You will lead a high-performing team, partner with business units for financial planning, and coordinate with corporate finance on budgets and strategic initiatives. Ten years of managerial experience and a CPA are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy required.
• CPA certification required.
• Minimum 10 years of managerial experience in accounting operations, financial reporting and budgeting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing practices and financial controls.
• Experience with SAP and other enterprise financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and endorsement of financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records, vouchers, balance sheets, and financial analyses.
• Strengthen financial controls, accounting policies, and reporting standards across the business.
• Drive improvements in financial reporting, sales reporting, collection monitoring, and performance analysis.
• Oversee consolidation and review of operating budgets and partner with business units on financial priorities.
• Coordinate with corporate finance on budget submissions and approvals.
• Lead finance-related projects and initiatives requested by management.
