Job summary

Emapta Philippines seeks a Senior Management Accountant - Team Lead to own full sets of financial statements, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and multi-entity accounting while developing the team onsite in Ortigas.

The role requires hands-on financial leadership, strong Excel and Xero skills, and experience supervising a team to deliver accurate, timely financial insights for UK- and PH-based stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of management or financial accounting experience, with hands-on preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Proven finance or accounting team leadership experience including supervision and coaching.
• Hands-on budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and group consolidations.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Xero or similar software.
• Pursuing ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complete financial statements, multi-entity management accounts, and monthly packs.
• Oversee intercompany balances, reconciliations, accruals, and cash flow while ensuring compliance.
• Analyze budgets and forecasts, monitor KPIs, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Provide actionable financial insights to support planning and decision-making.
• Lead and develop the accounting team, coaching and performance guidance.
• Drive process improvements and reporting automation to boost accuracy.
