Job summary

Emapta Philippines is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead financial reporting, budgeting, and controls for construction projects and related entities. The role blends strategic finance with hands-on accounting leadership in a hybrid Makati setting.

You will collaborate with CFO and project teams to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and timely insights supporting growth and asset protection. Strong knowledge of construction accounting and software is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1-5 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and procedures in construction, real estate and related industries.
• Experience documenting procedures and establishing internal controls in a construction environment.
• Ability to allocate costs and expenses across multiple projects and business units.
• Strong financial reporting and general ledger understanding for construction.
• Experience with consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and segment reporting.
• Ability to interpret accounting rules relevant to construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for projects and entities.
• Prepare and analyze project income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules and disclosures.
• Lead budgeting process and monitor performance against budget.
• Deliver ad hoc financial reports and data analyses to operations teams.
• Drive process improvements and automation in financial reporting.
