Job summary

Sumitomo Electric Group, SNPW team, is seeking a Finance Supervisor to oversee daily finance and accounting operations in the Philippines. The role focuses on planning, reporting, and ensuring compliance with standards and company policies.

You will supervise a finance group, review transactions, and support budgeting and forecasting while coordinating with auditors and internal departments to maintain strong controls and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of accounting and financial management practices, including statutory obligations.
• Background in finance, accounting, or audit functions.
• Ability to contribute to financial control and management processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily finance and accounting operations and oversee the overall workflow of the finance group.
• Review financial transactions, reports, reconciliations, and journal entries for accuracy.
• Analyze financial reports in relation to budgets and prior-year results.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
• Audit expenditures and monitor internal controls and procedures.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and admin reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal groups as required.
• Conduct timely performance evaluations and manage disciplinary actions per policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
