Job summary

Microgenesis, based in Mandaluyong, Philippines, seeks an Accounting Supervisor (General Accountant) to oversee daily finance operations and ensure accurate reporting on-site. You will manage journal entries, ledgers, and monthly/ quarterly/ annual statements, while supervising staff and collaborating with teams on budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, leadership ability, and experience in a technology-driven organization; CPA is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting for management and regulatory purposes.
• Proficient in Accounting Software and related tools; optimize workflows and maintain accurate records.
• Well-developed analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify variances and recommend actions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries; maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff; implement process improvements and ensure policy adherence.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
