Job summary

HR TechX Corp is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead the Philippine accounting operations for a global company. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax filings, and collaboration with regional/global finance teams.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting with supervisory experience, strong knowledge of Philippine standards and local regulations, and leadership to develop the local team. This is an on-site position based in Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Strong experience in Philippine/local accounting for a global or multinational company.
• Hands-on knowledge of Philippine statutory accounting and regulatory compliance (BIR, SEC, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, EC).
• Experience handling tax filings, government remittances, statutory reporting, and external audits.
• Familiarity with Philippine Accounting Standards/PFRS and local tax regulations.
• Experience working with regional/global finance teams and international stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Philippine accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Manage month-end closing, general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, AP/AR and related processes.
• Ensure compliance with local standards and regulatory requirements (BIR, SEC, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, EC).
• Coordinate with local regulators, external auditors, and tax advisors as needed.
• Prepare and review financial reports for regional/global finance teams.
• Supervise and develop the local accounting team.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
