Job summary

Q2 HR Solutions is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to support the Finance Manager in overseeing financial operations, reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. You will work with HR and external stakeholders to ensure accurate accounting, payroll, and timely financial filings.

The role involves supervising staff, coordinating with auditors, and maintaining ledgers in QuickBooks while ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance required or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, with supervisory or review responsibilities preferred.
• CPA license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Monitor expenses, cash flow, and bank transactions for accuracy.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, collections, payments, and reconciliations.
• Prepare payroll journals and accruals with HR/payroll providers.
• Ensure government compliance and maintain internal controls.
