Job summary

Udenna Land, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and ensure compliance with accounting policies.

This role requires strong Excel skills, experience in external audit or financial reporting, and familiarity with Netsuite; CPA is an advantage. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related course.
• CPA qualification is an advantage.
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience on external audit or financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Excel; Netsuite familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the general ledger and ensure that transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system.
• Review accounting entries and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, proper account classification, and compliance with Company and accounting policies.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, reclassifications, depreciation, provisions, and other adjusting entries.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Perform monthly closing activities and ensure that all required entries are recorded within established deadlines.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and audit trails for account balances and journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation of management reports and other financial information as required.
• Provide schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents required for internal and external audits.
• Address audit queries relating to assigned accounts and coordinate with relevant departments to obtain supporting documentation.
