About the role I-Serve360 Corporation is seeking a Finance Supervisor to join our growing finance team in Legazpi City, Albay. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. As Finance Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising accounting staff, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. What you'll be doing

• Supervise and manage the daily activities of the finance and accounting team, ensuring efficient workflow and task completion
• Monitor and review financial transactions, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger entries for accuracy and compliance
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and analyses in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Reconcile bank statements, subsidiary ledgers, and other financial records on a regular basis
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decision-making
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Process payroll transactions and verify accuracy of employee compensation records
• Train, mentor, and provide guidance to junior accounting staff and support their professional development
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems for all financial records
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to facilitate financial audits and reviews

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is highly desirable
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team leadership capacity
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and senior management
• Leadership and supervisory capabilities, with experience in training and coaching staff
• Knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and financial compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity
