Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Head of Finance and Accounting to lead our Finance and Accounting teams, oversee financial reporting, treasury, planning, and governance. You will partner with senior leadership to drive profitability, manage regulatory compliance, and support strategic initiatives.

This hybrid role, based in Fort Bonifacio, requires strong leadership, deep technical accounting knowledge, and experience with fundraising or corporate transactions to guide financial decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Significant experience in finance and accounting leadership, preferably in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, treasury, liquidity management, budgeting, and controls.
• Experience with regulatory requirements, auditors, banks, and financial stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with senior management and provide strategic financial advice.
• Understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and financial risk management.
• Experience in fundraising, investor relations, or corporate transactions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance and Accounting team.
• Oversee financial reporting, treasury management, and liquidity.
• Coordinate external audits and address audit findings.
• Partner with operations on loan booking and finance-related processes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with BSP requirements and accounting standards.
• Prepare financial analyses for board and senior management.
• Support fundraising and corporate transactions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.
• Develop and enforce strong financial controls.
